Lindsey joined Blue Lias in 2013, bringing with her extensive experience gained from managing another prominent regional firm. A qualified Chartered Accountant since 2010, Lindsey has over 19 years of experience in the field. During her tenure, she has cultivated a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in accounting, tax, and business advisory services. Lindsey meticulously manages a substantial client portfolio, primarily working with local owner-managed businesses, providing them with tailored guidance and expertise. Her expertise spans a diverse range of sectors, including retail, hospitality, construction, and engineering.

Heidi Channing, FMAAT, FFA, FTA, Client Manager

Heidi founded Blue Lias Accounting in 2006 with the vision of offering a distinctly user-friendly, transparent, and client-centric service. With over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession, Heidi's dedication to providing exceptional service has been instrumental in Blue Lias's success. A recognized expert in her field, Heidi holds fellow membership status with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). Heidi's expertise extends to a wide range of services, including managing limited companies, partnerships, and sole proprietorships, as well as personal tax matters for individuals.

Rachel Moores, CIPP, Payroll & Tax Manager

Rachel joined Blue Lias in December 2016, bringing her valuable expertise in payroll and tax management. An Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals, Rachel possesses a comprehensive understanding of payroll requirements and challenges faced by businesses. In addition to managing a portfolio of investment tax returns, Rachel takes pride in delivering meticulous and efficient payroll services, ensuring client compliance and peace of mind.

Louise Turner, MAAT, ACCA, Client Manager

Louise embarked on her journey with Blue Lias in September 2016 as an apprentice trainee accountant. Through her dedication and hard work, Louise has progressed rapidly, earning membership with the Association of Accounting Technicians and achieving full qualification as a Certified Accountant with ACCA in early 2023. Louise actively manages her own portfolio of clients, providing a comprehensive range of accountancy services, including accounts preparation, compliance, bookkeeping solutions, corporate tax planning, VAT returns, and personal tax work. Louise effectively assists clients with their Cloud Accounting software, such as Xero, and possesses extensive experience in payroll.

Debbie Shields, FAAT, Client Manager

Debbie joined Blue Lias in 2018 as a Senior Accountant, bringing with her over 25 years of valuable experience in the field. Her expertise and commitment to excellence have earned her Fellow Membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians. Debbie is responsible for her own portfolio of clients, providing tailored accountancy services, including VAT, management accounts, and a wide array of services across diverse sectors. Debbie collaborates closely with the director, providing crucial support to her client portfolio.

Rebekah Davies, VAT & Bookkeeper

Becky joined Blue Lias in 2013, starting as a Payroll Advisor and Administration Assistant. Her diverse skill set and dedication to accurate financial management are invaluable assets to the team. Becky specializes in VAT and bookkeeping, ensuring clients maintain accurate financial records and comply with all necessary regulations.
