Our History

Begbies Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors has a rich history that spans over 180 years. Established in 1837, we are one of the oldest independent accountancy firms in England. Our founder, George Coryndon Begbie, set up the practice at 63 Coleman Street in the heart of the City of London. Since then, we have grown and evolved to become a leading firm of chartered accountants and registered auditors.
